Rossari Biotech Limited, founded in 2003 as a partnership firm, is engaged in the manufacture, sale and distribution of specialty chemicals. It has two state-of-the-art facilities in Dahej in Gujarat and Silvassa in Dadra Nagar Haveli. It caters to global FMCG brands and its applications are used in consumer and home care products, textiles, animal health and nutrition and cosmetics. In FY 2020, the Company subdivided 5 million equity shares to 25 million equity shares and allotted 2.6 million equity shares to eligible members of the Company. It also issued 2.35 million equity shares to qualified institutional buyers on a preferential basis. During Q2 FY2021, IPOs of 11.7 million equity shares were issued with 10.5 million allotted to selling shareholders and 1.17 million to the fresh issue at a premium of Rs.423. During FY 2021, 3012046 equity shares were issued to the eligible members on a preferential basis whileUnitop Chemicals Private Limited, Tristar Intermediates Private Limited and Romakk Chemicals Private Limited were acquired by the Company. Solar panel was installed at Dahej facility to accommodate 1 MW solar power installation in FY 2022 which helped to save energy by 50 KVA. During 202122 several product developments have been made for the sizing of polyester and cotton fabric and the development of green products to reduce high TDS. Significant cross-selling opportunities have also been unlocked with the strategic investments made.
