About POCL Enterprises Ltd

POCL Enterprises Limited (POEL), a manufacturing firm of inorganic chemicals and base metals, was incorporated in May 1988 and has manufacturing units in Pondicherry, Kakkalur, Thiruvallur, Maraimalai Nagar (Tamilnadu). The Scheme of Arrangement Demerger between Pondy Oxides and Chemicals Limited (Demerged Company) and POCL Enterprises Limited (Resulting Company) was approved in March 2014 and sanction was received from the Honble High Court of Judicature at Madras in December 2014. Prior to the Demerger, POEL was the wholly owned subsidiary of Pondy Oxides and Chemicals Limited (POCL), and it has created a Demerger Reserve of Rs. 78.15 Lakhs in consideration of the Demerger The total share capital of the company increased to Rs. 557.60 Lakhs in consequence to the transaction. POEL received approval from BSE and SEBI in April and May 2015, respectively. The company was listed on the BSE from June 25, 2015. In FY 2017, the Reclassifying Promoter desired to make themselves Public hence applied for reclassification under SEBI Regulations. The Board of Directors approved this application on November 11, 2016 and presently it is due for approval from BSE.
