About Navkar Corporation Ltd

Navkar Corporation Limited is an Indian CFS container service operator located in Panvel, Maharashtra in close proximity to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT). It has 3 CFSs located in Ajivali and Somathane, covering an area of 3.59 million sq ft and capable of handling 535,500 TEUs per annum. It is approved to handle hazardous cargo such as bulk liquids and chemicals, and also agricultural cargo set up by the Ministry of Agriculture. It has a private railway freight terminal allowing for cargo transport across the Indian rail network, as well as custom facilities for the examination and clearing of cargo. It also provides packing, labelling, palletizing, fumigation and other related services, along with repair and maintenance of containers, storage of cargo, and warehousing of 500,000 sq ft including a bonded warehouse of 60782 sq ft and an 118,000 sq ft area designated for consolidation of LCL containers. In addition to all of this, it also has an ICD located near Vapi with 3 operational lines. It was formed in 2007 and successfully completed its IPO in 2015, following which it went public on the BSE and NSE. In 2017, it raised Rs. 1447741,914 through its Qualified Institutional Placement. In 2018, it was sanctioned by the National Company Law Tribunal to amalgamate Navkar Terminals Limited into it, which became effective in May. It then proceeded to issue and allot 997906 Preference shares, amounting to Rs. 9979000.
