About Marshall Machines Ltd

Marshall Machines Limited is an Indian company that specializes in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of Machine Tool Equipment. Since its private incorporation in 1994, under the name V.B. Spinning Mills Private Limited, and was renamed to Marshall Machines Private Limited in 2002, and to Marshall Machines Limited in 2018 when it converted to a public company. The business was founded by late Shri Gautam Sarup 54 years ago, with an aim to manufacture hosiery machines. However, the firm extended its range to design and manufacture precision high bench lathes, heavy duty lathes, and capstan lathes, and later became one of the first CNC Machine manufacturers in India. Marshall Industries then took a technical tieup with an American Company - M/s Path Wizard Inc., in 1997, to export the mechanical and basic electrical elements of its CNC Lathes to the U.S. In April 2006, Marshall Industries was taken over by Marshall Machines, with an allotment of 340000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each and conversion of the remaining Rs. 21.73 lakhs into an unsecured loan. What began as a hosiery business, has now grown to include all geared lathes, multi-spindle drilling and tapping machines, and special purpose machines.
