About K&R Rail Engineering Ltd

KR Rail Engineering Ltd., formerly Axis Rail India Ltd, is a leading railway infrastructure company providing services in Railway sector, including track laying, signaling, electrification and telecommunication. The company holds a domain expertise of over three decades and is well-known for its last mile connectivity services across India. With technologically advanced projects for their clients and foraying into electric vehicle applications, KR Railway is one of the fastest growing companies in the Railway sector. In 2016, due to internal reorganization, the paid-up capital was reduced by 75% and further 6.9 million equity shares and 24.05 million optionally convertible preference shares were allotted. Additionally, to meet the long-term requirements, 33 million warrants were issued to promoters. In 2016-17, 33 million warrants were converted into equity shares and 99 million preference shares were issued. It's also partaking in more projects in Africa and plans to participate in PPT projects in India.
