About Kandagiri Spinning Mills Ltd

Kandagiri Spinning Mills (KSML), incorporated in 1976 and promoted by the Sambandam group, is located in Tamilnadu, India. The Chairman and Managing Director of the company are S.P. Ratnam and K.R. Manicka Mudaliar respectively. KSML, along with group concerns Sambandam Spinning Mills and Mallur Siddeswara Spinning Mills, has made remarkable growth in the last 15 years, having increased its spindle capacity from 3260 to 39932. In January 1995, the company went public with 1136000 shares of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 40 each, to fund a Rs 17.25 crore project for further capacity expansion up to 49532 spindles. Special-purpose machines such as autocone winders, two-for-one twisters, and singeing machines have also been installed for the manufacture of export-quality yarn. KSML is involved in the cotton and textiles industries.
