About Sudarshan Colorants India Ltd

ColourChem CCL was founded in 1956 and has since become a part of the global Clariant group through a 1997 merger. CCL is a leading manufacturer and merchant exporter of pigments, fine chemicals, and leather chemicals, enjoying trading house status. It has subsidiaries in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu and Kundalika Investments Ltd. With the 2000-2001 disinvestment of 24,000 equity shares in Haycolour Limited, Sri Lanka, to Hayleys Textile Services, CCL has acquired several new products and technologies, such as its dominant diketen, and expanded its installed capacity of synthetic resins binder materials and auxillaries by 3,000 MT, totaling 19,150 MT. CCL is currently owned by EBITO Chemiebeteiligungen AG Switzerland, a subsidiary of Clariant International AG who own 70.1% equity stake, and is committed to introducing technology-driven solutions to the specialised chemistry industry well into the future.
