About Hercules Investments Ltd

Hercules Hoists Ltd., a Bajaj group company, manufactures Electric Hoists, Trolleys, and Cranes with an annual production capacity of 23,400 units. In 2000-2001 they developed a new range of Chain Electric Hoists and Ratchet Lever Hoists that are expected to do well in domestic and export markets. They also partnered with M/s Bull S.r.l. Italy to launch a new range of Wire Rope Electric Hoists. On February 1st 2001, Hercules bought out 50:50 Joint Venture partner, M/s Batliboi Ltd, and their 100,000 shares at Rs.10 face value, plus a compensation of Rs.1 crore for exiting non-compete clauses. With this, Indef Marketing Services became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hercules, effective from 23 March 2001.
