Electrotherm India (EIL), a family-run business that started in the early eighties, is a leading manufacturer of induction melting furnaces, induction heating and hardening equipment, secondary metallurgical equipment and wind power generation systems. So far, they have installed over 300 induction furnaces across India and abroad, and they have also earned a reputation for developing cost-effective equipment for manufacturing stainless steel through induction furnaces. They have been recipients of the prestigious Dhatu Nayak awards twice, in 1997-98 and 1998-99, for their contribution to India's stainless steel and alloy steel industry. They have also achieved certification from RWTUV for ISO 9001 in 2001 and have supplied India's largest MF Induction Melting Furnace of 20 Tons capacity to M/s Shah Alloys Ltd in Ahmedabad.
