About Ecoplast Ltd

Ecoplast Limited is a leading Indian supplier of polyethylene and copolymer films as well as a variety of industrial applications. The company is mainly focused on providing high value-added products and films for specialty applications such as FMCG, Pharma packaging and Aluminum Composite Panel Films for surface protection. Since 1981, Ecoplast has been at the forefront of India’s flexible packaging industry, using multilayer films, polyester film Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene film, aluminum foil and paper to lock products in air- and water-tight packages, and extending their shelf life. In 2004, they replaced their oldest production line with a newer one of 1200 MTPA capacity and additionally invested in a joint venture company in 2008. In 2011 becoming a 100% subsidiary of the company. During 2016-17 their High Value Added (HVA) products capacity was increased from 1000 MTPA to 2400 MTPA and from September 2016 this new plant was made operational. In December 2019, their wholly-owned subsidiary, Synergy Films, ceased existing activities and gave up its licenses.
