About Cybele Industries Ltd

QFlex Cables is a public limited company established in 1993 in Kandigai, Tamilnadu in India. Initially the company was named QFlex Cables Software Ltd., which later changed into QFlex Cables Ltd., in 2003. The promoters of the company took necessary time to finalise financial, technical and marketing strategies and consequently the project started work in 1995. P. A Joykutty, the managing partner in Asia Cables and Conductors which already provides cables and conductors to OEMs, including Voltas Keltron HPL, TVS Electronics, Allwyn and Wipro Digital India, joined the company in 1996. In 1998-99 QFlex Cables became the first cable manufacturing company in India to achieve the ISO 9002 certification. Unfortunately, due to accumulated losses the company's networth became fully eroded as on March 2003, thus making it a Potentially Sick Industrial Company and a reference to BIFR.
