About Auro Laboratories Ltd

Auro Laboratories was founded in 1992 in Mumbai and focuses on manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), intermediates and generic formulations that adhere to high standards. It has a primary focus on anti-diabetic drugs, and is introducing more within this segment. It also offers toll and custom manufacturing of APIs and intermediates on a contract basis. Its manufacturing facility is located in Tarapur, India and has an installed capacity of over 500 tonnes/annum. Its presence has been felt in international markets with exports to countries such as the Egypt, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Brazil, Spain and United Kingdom. It has ISO 9001:2000, WHO cGMP and European Directorate of Quality Medicine EDQM certifications.
