About Atul Auto Ltd

Atul Auto Ltd, incorporated as a private limited company in June ‘86 and converted to a public limited company in Aug ‘94, is a manufacturer of Diesel Three Wheelers, Pickup Vans, Chassis of Passenger Vehicles, and Diesel Operated Motorcycles, which are marketed under the Khushbu brand name. In 1995-96, the company undertook a project to expand their capacity from 1080 to 3680 Three Wheelers per annum (pa) and install a capacity of 3500 Diesel Operated Motorcycles per annum. To fund this, a public issue of Rs. 536.25 lakhs was made. Subsequently, in 1997-98, the company installed their Motor Bike FUZI capacity of 3500 nos. The Automobile Research Association of India approved Khushbu RTVG vehicles complying with EURO II emission norms during 1999-2000. Lastly, in 2001-02, Atul Auto Ltd acquired additional 220500 equity shares in Khushbu Auto Finance Private Ltd which raised their holding to 51% of its share capital. As of April 2002, Khushbu Auto Finance Pvt. Ltd. became a subsidiary of Atul Auto Ltd.
