About Tai Industries Ltd

Tai Industries Ltd. was established in 1986 under the name Tashi Agro Industries Private Limited and has since then been actively involved in the marketing of products manufactured by its Bhutan-based family business, the Tashi Group. The company’s main products are DRUK-branded fruit products, including juices and squashes, and various types of minerals, particularly calcium carbide, rosin and dolomite. Their DRUK brand is known nationwide for exceptional quality and has enjoyed a market share of over 25 percent for fruit juice and 9 percent for squash. Tai Industries is also gaining distributorship rights to Hindustan Lever Ltd. and other multinationals. Currently, the company’s go-to-market business margins stand at about 13-14 percent of the cost. To promote competitiveness in the market, the company is examining the possibility of setting up a production centre in western India.
