Starlite Components was founded in 1991 and began its operations in 1992. The company provides a range of Electronic Ballast LED components, lighting fixtures, fittings, and LED lamps. The same year, the company issued a public offering to finance their expansion and diversification efforts, as well as to cover their working capital needs. In 2004, 12,000 of their 23549 shares in the company were sold to a creditor for Rs 55.40 per share, which was higher than the book value. Their investment in Paragon Plastics Ltd. reduced to 49, and they no longer had any financial involvement. In addition, the company invested Rs 108 lakhs in the shares of M/s. Starlite Lighting Limited, which manufacturers Compact Fluorescent Lamps.
