About New Light Industries Ltd

New Light Apparels Ltd, incorporated in 1995 and is owned by the Makkad family, and is headed by Gurcharan Lal Makkad as Chairman and Managing Director. The company manufactures socks with 59 machines and is proposing to expand to 84 machines by adding 25 computerised machines. In January 1996 the company successfully completed a public issue of 1.75 crore equity shares of Rs 10 each. The offering will help the company finance its proposed expansion plans.
