About Madhusudan Industries Ltd

Madhusudan Industries started off as Madhusudan Vegetable Product Company, initially producing vegetable products. However, with time, they have established themselves as a major force in the Indian ceramic industry. In 1980-81 the company entered the sanitaryware industry with their own technology and vastly expanded their production. To further increase their capacity, the company proceed with an Initial Public Offering in October 1989. With 36,000 tpa of vanaspati and refined oils, 23,000 tpa of cotton seed de-coction, 15,000 tpa of vitreous china sanitaryware, 18,000 tpa of oil cake extraction, 7,500 tpa of refined vegetable oils, the company continues to strive for international recognition with ISO 9002 certificate. To improve their production, Madhusudan Industries have further decided to divide their Ceramic Division to their subsidiary Madhusudan Oils and Fats Ltd. This will result in better management of their restructured Ceramic Division.
