How do you sign up for the UAN Member Portal?

Before logging into the UAN Login Portal, you must activate your UAN. It would help if you took the actions listed below:

  • Go to the EPF Member Portal.
  • Select "Activate UAN" from the list of "Important Links."
  • After entering your information, select "Get Authorization PIN."
  • Your EPF-registered phone number will receive a PIN.
  • To activate your UAN account, enter this PIN.
  • You will receive an SMS with a password generated by the system.
  • You can now use your UAN and password to access your EPF account.

Check your UAN status

An employee with an EPF account can take the following actions to find out their UAN status:

  • Go to the UAN Member Portal.
  • Select the "Know your UAN" option.
  • After entering your captcha code and phone number, select "Request OTP."
  • Your registered phone number receives an OTP. After inputting the OTP and the captcha code, like "Validate OTP."
  • You can input your PAN, Aadhaar, or Member ID. If you select the member ID option, you will need to provide additional information, such as your office address and state of residence. Your salary slip contains your member ID and pin.
  • Other information must also be entered, including your name, date of birth, and the captcha code.
  • Your UAN is shown when you click "Show My UAN."

How do you log into the UAN Member Portal?

Someone must complete a few procedures if they have to connect to their UAN member accounts online. However, only some people know the method because only some people are tech-savvy. The easier way to log in to your EPF account online using your Universal Account Number is below.

  • Navigate to the UAN main homepage. 
  • Entering your Universal Account Number is the first step.
  • The password comes after this.
  • You will then receive a Captcha to verify that you are human and not a robot. You can proceed to the last step after completing the Captcha as intended.
  • You can move after finishing the previous step, which is to sign in.

Steps to Reset UAN Login Password

This is how you go about doing it.

  • Click the "Forgot Password" link beneath the "Sign In" button on the login window on the UAN homepage.
  • Click the "Verify" option after accurately entering the UAN number and the Captcha on the subsequent screen.
  • The registered mobile number associated with your UAN is on the following screen. 
  • Click the "Get authorization PIN" tab if everything checks out. If you feel it is unacceptable, select "No," update your phone number, and then select "Get authorization PIN."
  • You must input the OTP you receive on your mobile device into the box before the words "Enter Authorization Pin" on the screen. 
  • Once entered, a new password of your choosing must be entered. After changing your password following the website's guidelines, click "Submit."
  • A notification stating that the UAN Login password has been successfully updated will now appear on the screen. To access the portal, use the previous UAN number and this new password.
