Bank of America is a multinational financial services and investment bank headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Bank of America is only after JP Morgan Chase in being the 2nd largest banking institution in the USA and 8th largest globally. Now Bank of America is the result of the merger of NationsBank and then BankAmerica in 1998. Bank of America lent D.E. Shaw & Co. hedge funds to run various businesses for the bank.
