Company Information

Nippon Life India Asset Management Limited (formerly known as Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management Limited) is one of the largest asset management companies in India, with a total Assets Under Management (AUM) of Rs. 3.46 lakh crore. Promoted by Nippon Life Insurance Company (Japan) and Reliance Capital Limited (India), the Company manages mutual funds, exchange traded funds, managed accounts (including Portfolio Management Services), alternative investment funds, pension funds, offshore funds and advisory mandates. Through its subsidiaries in Singapore and Mauritius, it also caters to investors across Asia, Middle East, UK, US and Europe. It has executed a contract to provide discretionary portfolio management services to the Employees Provident Fund Organisation, Coal Mines Provident Fund Organisation and Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority. Reliance Mutual Fund has launched various schemes including Reliance Growth Fund, Reliance Vision Fund, Reliance Japan Equity Fund, Equity-oriented Retirement Fund etc. NAM India is the only asset manager that manages mandates of all four prestigious organisations, namely Employees State Insurance Corporation, Employees Provident Fund Organisation, Coal Mines Provident Fund Organisation and Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority. As on March 31 2022, the Company had a total AUM of Rs. 55001 crore as part of the managed accounts business. It had a total AUM of Rs. 8762 crore as part of international offshore managed portfolio and a total AUM of Rs. 2685 crore as international advisory mandates. In FY 20-21, it launched a number of ETF products including Multi Asset Fund, Nippon India ETF Nifty CPSE Bond Plus SDL 2024 Maturity and Bualuang Bharata Fund in Thailand. It also launched the first Indian Exchange Traded Fund ETF product in Australia and the first offshore real estate fund in December 2019.
