Grauer Weil India (GWL) is a leading provider of complete corrosion and protection coating solutions. It was established in 1957, converted to a public limited company in 1961, and offers a range of services including automatic plating lines, phosphating plants, painting plants, filtration systems, electrochemicals, Effluent Treatment Plants, Metal Recovery Systems and Plating PlantsFiltersPumps etc. The company has multiple manufacturing facilities across Dadra, Vapi Gujarat, Barotiwala Himachal Pradesh, Samba, Jammu Kashmir, Khed Pune and Kandivli, Mumbai, as well as collaborations with Union Inks and Graphics Pte Singapore, M/s EnthoneOMI Inc. U.S.A., M/s Aucos of Germany, M/s Kabushiki Kaisha Nippon Dacro Shamrock Japan, M/s Goema GmbH of Germany, M/s Manz GmbH of Germany and Surfilco Inc of USA. In 1999, GWL set up a plant in Dadra to manufacture chemicals and in 2008 they entered into a joint venture agreement with Bombay Paints Limited. The company also constructed a Hydro Power Plant at Ani in Himachal Pradesh and made a bonus issue of 1:2 in 200203. In 2008, Growels Plaza 101 shopping outlet was made operational and in 2010, the second phase of the Shopping Mall became operational. During FY 201617, a new plant was commissioned in Dadra which went into production of paints with an installed capacity of 5000 KL p.a.
