AMD Q3 2022 Revenue: The company reported a revenue of $5.57 billion below analysts' expectations of $5.62 billion. The company's revenue increased 29% year on year driven by growth across the Gaming, Data Center, and Embedded segments.

AMD Q3 Revenue across segments: Data Center segment revenue was $1.6 billion, up 45% year-over-year. Client segment revenue was $1.0 billion, down 40% year-over-year. Gaming segment revenue was $1.6 billion, up 14% year-over-year. Embedded segment revenue was $1.3 billion, up 1,549% year-over-year.
AMD Q3 earnings 2022: AMD reported a net income of $66 million, down 93% year on year mainly because of AMD’s $49 billion acquisition in February of Xilinx. It is a maker of chips called field-programmable gate arrays. In the year-ago period, the company reported a net income of $923 million.
