After a breather in the last two days, the Nifty resumed its decline amid weakness across other Asian markets. Nifty fell 1.4% to end at 15,413.30 as losses across sectors pulled the headline indices lower, with financial, oil & gas, and metal shares falling the most.  The broader markets, midcap, and small-cap ended in line with the benchmark.

Vedanta slumped 6%: Vedanta resumed losses amid a selloff in metal stocks as investors remained concerned about rate hikes amid soaring inflation.

National Aluminum plunged 5%: Nalco plunged 6% amid a rout in metal stocks due to inflation, and rate hike fears.

Tata Steel down 5%: Tata Steel plunged to a fresh 52-week low as cyclical stocks took a beating amid recession fears.

NMDC lost 5%: NMDC declined 5% as investors dumped energy stocks amid inflation fears and recession concerns.

ONGC ended 3% down: ONGC plunged amid lower crude oil prices, and margin concerns.

Reliance down 3%: Reliance ended 3% lower amid a slump in oil prices due to fears of recession and a weak demand outlook.

Wipro down 3%: Wipro slumped to a 52-week low as technical analysts predicted more downside as it broke key levels.

Coal India down 3%: Coal India shares slumped amid a selloff across sectors due to fears of global recession, and soaring inflation.

Paytm down 3%: Paytm plunged 3% as investors dumped new-age tech stocks due to fears of a rate hike. Paytm is down 60% from its peak.

Adani Power fell 3%: Adani Power fell amid a selloff in power stocks due to concerns about the recession. Stock is down 11% in the last week.

HCL Tech slumped 3%: HCL Tech declined 3% as investors remained wary of stocks in the IT sector due to recession fears.

Adani Wilmar down 2%: Adani Wilmar shares remain under pressure after the company slashed edible oil prices by Rs 10.

GAIL fell 2%: GAIL fell 2% amid a fall in global crude oil prices on the back of recession fears and a weak demand outlook.

HDFC AMC fell 2%: HDFC AMC slumped 2% after analysts estimated a reduction in the forecast of long-term earnings growth for the stock.

IRCTC slipped 2%: IRCTC remains under pressure as protests over the Agnipath scheme disrupt trains across the country.

Bharti Airtel down 2%: Bharti Airtel slumped 2% as analysts noted that flat subscriber growth and the upcoming 5G auction will be near-term overhangs.

Tech Mahindra dropped 2%: Tech Mahindra slipped 2% as investors remained wary of IT stocks due to recession fears.

PNB down 2%:  PNB declined 2% after the shares turned ex-dividend today. PNB had announced a dividend of Re 0.64 per share.

Tata Power down 2%: Tata Power fell after analysts noted that the key technical indicators are negatively poised on major time frame charts.
