Dmart Q3 FY22 updates: Avenue SuperMarket reported to the exchange that it will declare its result for the Q3FY22 on 8th January 2022. D-Mart is a national supermarket chain that offers customers a range of home and personal products under one roof. Dmart, one of the largest retail chains in India, also shared the highlights for the December quarter on Sunday. The details are as below:

Dmart Q3 update

  • Rise in revenue - The revenue in Q3FY22 increased to Rs 9,065 crore. In the same quarter last year, it reported a revenue of Rs 7432.69 crore. Sequentially (compared to Q2), the revenue increased by 18.5% from Rs 7649.64 crore in Q2FY22.
  • Store count - For the quarter ending September, DMART had a total store count of 246. The store count reported by the company as of 31 December 2021 is 263. It added 17 new stores in the Oct-Dec period.

Last quarter, the company reported an exceptional net profit jump of 113.2% at Rs 448.90 crore. We will update the Q3 net profit, and other details once declared on 8 January. The share price of Dmart was trading 1.45% higher at Rs 4740 on Monday afternoon. 

Dmart Q3 FY22 update: Brokerage radar

Following the release of the Business Update, Morgan Stanley has retained an ‘Underweight’ call on the shares with a target price of Rs 4,338. D-Mart has added 17 new stores net during Q3 which is the highest in seven quarters, Morgan Stanley noted in the report.
